In this issue of Clinics in Sports Medicine, guest editors Constance R. Chu, Erica Taylor, and Joel Boyd bring their considerable expertise to the topic of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in Sports Medicine. While women and persons of color comprise a high percentage of athletes, representation is low in positions of influence where few serve as owners, consultants, coaches, athletic trainers, and team physicians. This special issue of Clinics in Sports Medicine highlights opportunities to embrace and enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) among the medical teams that care for athletes.
